Fancy Queries for SearchI2G

The objective of this page is to collect surprising, false, or wrong, search results that are obtained or should be obtained with the cross-curriculum search tool (currently only available on http://draft.i2geo.net/xwiki/bin/view/Search/ .

Search for Segment

gives me also matches for Strecke and a whole lot of other things, including constructions that only talk about lines.

Explanation?

Search for "négatifs"

I wish to find interactive resources concretizing geometrically the notions of positive and negative numbers.

As of now, I get very little… ah, but I forget that "negative numbers" should have another name, at least in French, it should be called "nombres relatifs" which is the set of integer numbers, both positive and negative.

Because i2geo developers have left it, I just give a shot to google search from my search for négatifs and I find some names in CompEd.... well, precisely the right names, a competency Calculate_sum_or_difference_of_integers_and_positive_and_negative_decimal_numbers.

Searching for this (try it here) gives me a list of things which is far too broad. Expansion explains it, it matches a too big number of competencies and topics, among others Addition.
