Dear XWikiGuest,

Congratulations on creating , a new group within the I2geo community! Your group can be found at . You will need to be logged in at I2geo to access all the administrative features for group content and settings.

Remember that as the group leader, you see an "administrative" view of your group area, which allows you to see "Edit" links and other information that regular group members cannot.

As a group leader, you have some important next steps:

(1) First, you have the option to edit multiple messages within the tabs that make up the area on I2geo. These include the Welcome section on the Home tab and the About sections on the Messages, Curriculum, Members, and Documentation tabs. You can leave these areas as they are, or update and edit them frequently. In the case of the Welcome section on the Home tab, this will not appear on the Home tab at all unless you click the "Edit" link and update the content to focus on your group.

(2) You also need to invite members!

Please note that -- as a new group leader -- you are automatically registered as a member of the I2geo Leaders Group, which you can find at http://leaders.groups.i2geo.net or on your Groups tab in My I2geo. The I2geo Leaders Group is facilitated by I2geo staff, and is a great place to get tips for managing your group and to discuss ideas for using and improving the site.

If you need support in managing your group membership, please send a message to the I2geo Leaders Group at http://leaders.groups.i2geo.net/Members or email I2geo at groups@i2geo.net.

Sincerely,

I2geo
