Winterschule zu Kompetenzorientierung, Kreativität und Open Educational Resource

Metis Baltic führt vom 3. bis 7. Februar eine Winterschule für Lehrerinnen und Lehrer durch. Inhalt der Fortbildung ist die Steigerung von Querschnittskompetenzen bei Schülerinnen und Schülern, wie Kreativität, Zusammenarbeit und Kommunikationsfähigkeit, durch die Verwendung von anwendungsbezogenen und authentischem Unterrichtsmaterial. Dazu werden insbesondere „Open Educational Resources“, kostenlos und frei zugängliche Bildungsressourcen, verwendet.

CADGME-2012 in Novi Sad

After a successful conferences held at Pécs, Hungary (2007), Hagenberg, Austria (2009) and Hluboká nad Vltavou, Czech Republic (2010) we are delighted to announce that the CADGME conference continues. The team from Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad has volunteered to host the conference in 2012 in our beautiful city Novi Sad.

New National Teacher Training Center in Germany

We are happy to announce that the German Telekom Stiftung will fund a National Centre for Teacher Training in Mathematics with 5 Mio. € for the next five years. The successful application for the center was submitted by a consortium of six Universities from Berlin and North-Rhine-Westphalia.

I2GEO 2010 proceedings

Our conference I2GEO 2010 in Hluboká was a great success with about 20 presentations by participants from all over Europe. We will post these soon on the I2GEO 2010 website at Meanwhile, you can find there the papers contributed for download.

Many people requested that we admit late submissions to I2GEO 2010, so we are happy to announce that the deadline to submit an abstract for your presentation at I2GEO 2010 has been extended to April 12! Please visit the conference website to submit using the easychair system.
